Early Winter Magic in Kilpisjärvi: Nature Walk with Campfire Stories and Northern Lights Quest
Arctic Evening with Local GuideQuest for Northern LightsPrivate Tour

A Touch of Lapland Magic

If you’re looking to experience a bit of Lapland magic without diving into the full winter chill, our Arctic evening walk is just the ticket. This relaxed 2.5-hour tour is offered in October and November, right before the permanent snow settles in and the winter season kicks off.

Kilpisjärvi - Home of the Northern Lights

Kilpisjärvi is the perfect spot for Northern Lights chasers, as this village sees the Aurora Borealis more frequently than any other place in Lapland. You might even catch a glimpse of the lights just by stepping outside your accommodations. But if you want to venture into nature, we’d love for you to join us on our evening walk.

A Leisurely Evening Stroll and Campfire Coziness

We’ll trade the village lights for nature with a short walk. Once we reach a cozy campsite, we’ll gather around a bonfire, sharing stories of life in the Arctic during the eight seasons of the year, along with the facts and fiction of "Lady Aurora." Sometimes she puts on a spectacular show, and sometimes she’s shy and stays in hiding. Even if Lady Aurora plays hard to get, there’s always a touch of magic in the air.

At the campsite, we’ll enjoy roasted sausages, hot beverages, and homemade pastries.

Privately Guided Evening Experience

This experience is perfect for you and up to five of your friends. It’s a chance to connect with nature, learn a bit about the Arctic, and maybe, just maybe, catch a glimpse of the magical Northern Lights. So, bundle up, bring your curiosity, and let’s see what magic we can discover together!

Plan Your Private Evening Experience

This tour is available from the beginning of October until the permanent snow arrives, marking the start of our winter sledding adventures. Each tour lasts approximately 2,5 hours, and we keep the group size intimate with a maximum of 6 participants per excursion.
